Dancing with the Stars may be out another contestant before the show even airs tonight.
Olympic gold-medalist Misty May-Treanor was injured on Friday during rehearsal, ABC confirmed to Usmagazine.com.
"Misty May-Treanor sustained an injury on Friday and received immediate medical attention," the network said in a statement. "Despite previous reports, she did not break her ankle. She is resting comfortably at home. Doctors will reevaluate her condition on Monday and determine the outcome of her participation on the show."
Misty, a kick-ass volleyball player, is partnered with pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy in the competition.
I think the chances are slim that she would go all the way anyway (I mean, she has a bunch of gold medals -- does she really need that stupid disco ball?), but it sucks to be taken out before you're ready. Let's hope she's not done for the season.
