For a flawless and easy party look, give yourself candy-colored lips and use subtle highlights to give your skin a fresh, golden glow.
Check out these tips from Cover Girl makeup pro B.J. Gillian:
For your face
For skin that is normal to oily, use Cover Girl Simply Powder Foundation. "Apply foundation with a square sponge to your T-zone. The powder absorbs excess oil without providing excess coverage," says B.J. Gillian.
To define cheekbones, use Cover Girl Instant Cheekbones Blush in Purely Plum or Sophisticated Sable. "It allows anyone the ability to sculpt cheekbones with a coordinating highlight blush, and create accents like a professional makeup artist," says B.J.
For your eyes
"Even this season's softest eye benefits from a translucent wash of shimmery color and a subtle stroke of liner," says B.J. Start with Cover Girl Crystal Sheer Shadow in Amethice, applying it close to the lash line and blending up and outward to the crease of the eyelid.
The use a dark, thin liner like CG Smoothers Eyeliner in Violet, Indigo or Onyx. Apply it close to the lash line on both upper and lower lids.
Finish lashes with Cover Girl Triple Mascara.
For your lips
Since the rest of the look is muted, choose a berry (merry!) lip. To accomplish this defined lip, B.J. recommends a bright lipstick with staying power like Outlast All-Day Lipcolor in Candy Cane or Candied Ginger.
For a more festive look like the one shown, use Outlast LipArt Tiny Trys in Ever Red-dy. Don't forget to stencil on the provided heart or star in Ginger Ale to make your lips the pout of the party!
