Eat, Pray, Love (2010)

Synopsis: Emotionally drained after her divorce, Liz Gilbert (Julia Roberts) departs on a yearlong journey of self-exploration. For four months she explores the pleasure of food in Italy, then seeks wisdom through meditation and prayer at an ashram in India and, finally, spends her last four months in Indonesia studying with a Balinese medicine man. In each place her experiences lead to self-discovery and growth, but it is only after meeting Felipe (Javier Bardem) in Bali that she finds the confidence to love and trust herself, and the courage to fall in love again.

Quote: "Balance, my darling, is not letting anybody love you less than you love yourself."- Felipe

Real Life Swoonfactor:  If only we could all recover from heartache and hardship with a trip across the world that begins with a four-month carb binge and ends with Javier Bardem waiting for us in a garden paradise! Rating: 2 out of 5 hearts.
