Eating Ice Burns Calories

Sorry ladies, but eating ice or drinking ice-cold water isn't the answer when it comes to losing weight. Though drinking water is healthy, the energy (and calories) it takes to heat up the water in your body is very minimal. Fernstrom says drinking water most certainly won't hurt you, but it's just not a significant calorie burn. While it is true that your body has to heat ice water, don’t count on that for a measurable calorie use.
