Eddie Cibrian recently put a ring on LeAnn Rimes' finger and will soon be taking on the role of married man -- again. But onscreen, the actor is prepping for a completely different part: a philandering, ladies' man.
According to Deadline.com, the former CSI: Miami star landed the lead role in the new NBC pilot Playboy. Cibrian will be playing Nick Dalton, an attorney with mob connections. The drama is set in 1963 and centers around a high society Chicago Playboy club.
Cibrian's new alter-ego is described as "the ultimate Playboy," and it may not to be too difficult for the actor to get into character. While we're aware that he's currently committed to Rimes, it wasn't that long ago that the actor cheated on his then-wife Brandi Glanville, while filming a TV movie with his current fiancée.
For Rimes' sake, we're hoping playing a playboy won't cross over into his personal life!
