Eddie Cibrian seems to be CSI: Miami's latest victim, as a source close to the hit CBS crime series confirms that the actor's contract has not been picked up for next season.
Cibrian, the boyfriend of country singer LeAnn Rimes, reportedly only joined the cast last season in order to give the viewers the eye candy they were missing when cast member Adam Rodriguez left the show. But now that Rodriguez has decided to return to the role he originated in 2002, insiders say the show's creators concluded that Cibrian had to go, as producers have decided to put the focus back on the original, core team.
A rep for CBS declined to comment on the cast change.
