Elin Nordegren may hope that whisking her kids far from Tiger Woods will make her Christmas a little merrier, the New York Daily News reports.
"Elin is planning to take the kids to spend the holidays with her family in Sweden," a source tells the newspaper.
Meanwhile, the New York Post describes the scene outside the beleaguered couple's Windermere, Fla., estate yesterday as Nordegren directed a crew of movers to load vans with "carefully wrapped" belongings (including, among other possessions, artwork -- not the kind of cargo one typically packs for a temporary move.)
The 29-year-old wife and mother of two is reportedly furious about Woods's philandering. And the former model is even rumored to be considering a promotional deal with Puma, the sporting goods rival of her husband's top sponsor, Nike.
Nordegren's behavior will certainly continue to be scrutinized as her husband weathers fallout from his ever-growing infidelity scandal. Dr. Gail Saltz writes in a piece on iVillage's Your Total Health Web site that among the range of emotions betrayed spouses go through, rage is undoubtedly one of them. For all we know, Nordegren is lashing out by camping out elsewhere for now, or she may already be moving on -- in every sense of the word.
