George who? Only a few months after her split with 50-year-old George Clooney, former Dancing with the Stars contestant Elisabetta Canalis has found a new man. In fact, the 33-year-old is reportedly already calling him her boyfriend!
Canalis has been spotted around town with former True Blood star Mehcad Brooks, 31, and a source tells Us Weekly that the couple has been seeing each other for more than a month now.
"They're dating," the source says. "They started seeing each other after she left Dancing with the Stars. She already refers to him as her boyfriend. They're really cute."
It makes sense, then, that Canalis has made a point of saying that she is over Clooney, who she dated for two years. Though George is notoriously tight-lipped about his relationships, Canalis recently opened up about the the breakup in Itlian broadcaster Bruno Vespa's book Questo Amore (This Love). Though Elisabetta did say that George was "like a father" to her (ouch!), she also admitted that the split was mutual.
"We both decided it was time to split up," she said. "George and I never spoke about marriage or children. I don't put limits to the possibility of having them, but neither George nor I had ever envisaged having kids together. The end of the relationship was not caused by a marriage issue, but instead by our personal needs."
Shortly after he and Canalis parted ways, Clooney started dating former WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler, 32 -- and the two have been spotted happily trotting the globe together ever since. Hopefully Canalis and Brooks find the same joy with each other!
