Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and actress Portia de Rossi tied the knot on August 16 and have officially become wife and wife. Portia wore a backless, light pink Zac Posen dress, while Ellen also wore Zac Posen, though it was in the form of a pants suit. The ceremony was attended by 20 guests, including Ellen's mom and Portia's mom, who flew in from Australia for the occasion. In May, when the California Supreme Court ruled that same sex couples have the right to marry, Ellen announced on her talk show that she and Portia would wed.
