Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi To Wed This Weekend!!
My invite must have gotten lost in all my junk mail but, even still, I'm so psyched to report that Ellen DeGeneres and girlfriend, Portia de Rossi are making it official this weekend.
UsMagazine.com is reporting that the ladies "are planning a small, intimate ceremony with only a few close friends and family."
Not really Ellen's style -- doesn't seem like she throws a huge party because it rains? -- but they'll most probably have some sort of ginormous bash later on.
Ellen announced on her show in May -- after California Supreme Court's ruling that same sex couple's have the "right to marry" -- in front of a tear-eyed Portia, that they were super-excited and planned to marry in the near future.
I'm so happy for these gals -- they really seem in love, and to have that validated for all the world to acknowledge has to be a dream come true.
