Ellen Pompeo is reveling in the wonders of being a new mom -- so much so that, unlike most of us, she's loving the extra weight that's hung around since daughter Stella was born last September.
"I weigh 10 pounds more than I ever have. I love it," the actress said in the April issue of Self.
Granted, Pompeo was super-thin before getting pregnant and, even with gaining 26 pounds over the nine months, she was still only wearing a size 26 jeans.
"Everyone always told me I was too skinny before, and I thought, 'Oh, God, what if there are 14-year-olds who think I'm not eating, and then they don't eat? Do I have a responsibility?'"
But she says that she can't be bothered with the public scrutiny of her body.
"Really, I don't care if people think I'm too skinny," Pompeo retorts. "This is my body. If they don't like it, screw it. [My weight] doesn't matter to me. I have a healthy baby."
