Elvis Presley's Hair

The King may have left the building, but his hair was up for grabs. Elvis Presley's locks (from when he had his head shorn to join the Army in 1958) sold for a whopping $15,000 at a Chicago auction house on Oct. 18. The famous tresses belonged to the late Gary Pepper, a super-fan and friend of the late singer. Also among the 200 Elvis-related items which went on the block: a shirt that fetched $52,000.
