THE BACHELORETTE, season 8 (2012): Emily Maynard may have been the chosen one during The Bachelor's season 15 when Brad Womack selected her as his honey, but it turns out he was no prize. By the time the After the Final Rose special aired, it was clear there was already trouble in paradise. The two ended up splitting last summer and in January, the blonde bombshell signed up to be the next Bachelorette! After an emotional ride (we swear...check out the best man-cry faces from the season!), Emily found her true love and a new stepfather for her 7-year-old daughter Ricki -- Jef Holm. "I never in a million years thought I'd be so in love as I am," said Emily as she awaited Jef's arrival for the final rose ceremony. As expected, Holm dropped to one knee: "I'm so in love with you. I promise you if you let me into your life and Ricki's life you will never feel lonely ever again." Emily said yes, but the magic didn't last long: In October, just months after the Bachelorette season finale, the pair split. "It was a very difficult and heartbreaking decision," Maynard said of the breakup.
