'Bachelorette' Emily Maynard Caught Cheating On Fiance Jef Holm?

Who to believe? While Maynard and Holm say the story is 100 percent false, Jef's brother told Us Weekly that he "watched the whole thing go down"

It seems like cheating is in the late summer air, as Bachelorette Emily Maynard reportedly just got caught in the act by her fiance Jef Holm.

The couple, who became engaged back in May during the taping of The Bachelorette finale, were vacationing with Holm's extended family in Myrtle Beach, S.C., when Holm allegedly stumbled across a handful of explicit text and picture messages to-and-from another man on her phone, Us Weekly reports. The magazine has a firm statement from Holm's brother Mike, though Maynard and her hubby-to-be had already come out and denied the whole thing to People.

"I can tell you that it's all 100 percent true. I was there and I heard the fight and watched the whole thing go down, Emily leaving and everything," Mike says. "I love my brother very much and, like the rest of our family, I just want him to be happy."

No word yet on who the other man is supposed to be, but Mike doesn't seem to think that this fiasco is a deal-breaker in their relationship. In fact, he thinks his brother and Maynard will manage to stay together.

"We all love Emily, too. Mistakes happen, we all get that," he explains. "I hope they can work it all out, but as far as your story goes, it's all true."

Meanwhile, the single mother of 7-year-old Ricki and her fiance are standing by their claims that no cheating went down.

"It's 100 percent not true," Maynard says.

Holms adds, "It's funny to me. We were in a gated community in a private home with just my brothers and sisters. It's just bogus a 'source' would [say] we were fighting. None of that is true."

As to the claims that Maynard packed up and left following the "blow-out fight," Holm says, "They must have packed me up, too," because he left the vacation home at the same time his fiance did.

Maybe they just managed to resolve the situation privately or maybe there never was a situation to begin with, but Maynard seems to still be pretty pleased with her choice in a future husband.

"I have never been more in love or felt more confident about our relationship," Maynard says. "We're so excited about the future and to be back in Charlotte and things are actually happening -- looking at places to live and going to school. I'm happier than I've ever been."
