Worst Opening Act

This year's Emmys were hosted, for the first time, by multiple hosts. The nominees for Outstanding Reality Host—Tom Bergeron, Jeff Probst, Ryan Seacrest, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum—took the stage to host the awards. Unfortunately, five people does not equal five times the talent, and their opening bit was incredibly boring. Their shtick was that they came up with nothing for an act, and though they fulfilled it by doing just that—nothing—it put us straight to sleep. As Jeremy Piven said while he accepted his award for Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series, "What if I just kept talking for 12 minutes? That was the opening."
