Enter the Beekman Boys' Heirloom Recipe Contest

Share your most treasured recipe for a chance to win an exciting prize package

Does your Aunt Trudy make a mean peach pie that's won countless blue ribbons at the county fair? Or does Grandma Mary make a healing chicken soup with a surprising secret ingredient? Well, Dr. Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell, of the Planet Green series The Fabulous Beekman Boys, want those recipes—and the stories behind them.

Brent and Josh have created an Heirloom Recipe Contest that asks fans to submit the best and brightest of your heirloom recipes, which are described as having "a sentimental or intrinsic value greater than their assigned monetary figure. They are at times virtually irreplaceable, and because of this they are treasured and passed down from one generation to the next."

More than 100 food-savvy fans have already sent their submissions—including recipes for ice box cake, cinnamon rolls, pierogies, watermelon rind pickles and more—which you can view at Beekman 1802.

So—what's your most treasured heirloom recipe? Submit your recipe and the story behind it for a chance to win a Beekman Basics prize package worth more than $150. Make sure you enter before Thanksgiving Day, when the winner will be announced.

Watch The Fabulous Beekman Boys' Fabulous Holiday Special on December 8 at 9 p.m. ET on Planet Green!
