Isaac Hayes

Musician Isaac Hayes died on August 10 at his home in Memphis at the age of 65. Though the cause of death has not been officially determined, it is being assumed that Isaac died from natural causes. A family member found him unresponsive next to his running treadmill. The music man, whose "Theme from Shaft" won him an Oscar and Grammys, had a resurgence of fame after voicing Chef on South Park from 1997-2006. According to his family, Isaac had a history of high blood pressure and had recently been treated for various medical conditions. In 2006 it was reported that he had suffered a mild stroke.
