Eva Longoria may be naturally petite, but even she admits there was a time when she was painfully thin.
In the January issue of Health magazine, the Desperate Housewives star says that the stress surrounding her split from ex-husband Tony Parker caused her to unintentionally lose too much weight.
"I remember after my divorce, I was so thin and everyone kept saying how great I looked," she says. "It was probably the most unhealthy place I've ever been. So it was funny what people would see as 'healthy.'"
The 36-year-old fashionista confesses how bizarre it was to get compliments during such a trying time in her life. "In my worst time, people were saying I've never looked better. [But now] I have a great diet and exercise routine," she adds.
Calling herself a "hopeless optimist," Longoria explains that while her divorce was difficult, it didn't take long for her to move forward from it.
"It's so funny, because I don't get depressed," she says. "Even after my divorce, everybody was like, 'Wow, you bounced back so quick.' I was like, 'I am not letting this take over. Something great is around the corner -- I can't wait to see what's going to happen.'"
Longoria is currently in a relationship with Spanish singer Eduardo Cruz, so clearly she had no problem finding the "something great" in her future!
