Eva Longoria showed off more than her new cookbook during an appearance Wednesday on The Late Show with David Letterman.
The Desperate Housewives star suffered a wardrobe malfunction when her jacket started popping open -- and she had nothing on underneath! Watch for yourself in the video below (the chest-baring mishap occurs at the 3:16 mark).
Wearing super short black tuxedo shorts, a tux jacket and high-heeled peep-toe pumps with her hair pulled back in a long pony-tail, Longoria walked out to apparent delight from the talk-show host.
"Trouble with the luggage?" Letterman asked upon seeing Longoria's shirtless outfit. "I wore a tuxedo for you," Longoria offered with a laugh.
"I guess you did," he said. "Or part of one."
She added, "This is for you. They go, 'Don't wear a shirt. You're going to see David.'"
Finally able to move on, Letterman began chatting with the dark-haired beauty about her new cookbook, Eva's Kitchen. Engaging in a conversation about some of Longoria's recipe preferences, they had just gotten into a discussion about guacamole and, oddly, okra when Longoria's jacket started to come undone.
"Oh! My button!," she said, fumbling with the jacket to try to rebutton it.
"You didn't see anything!" a flustered Longoria added -- and indeed, it's debatable if anything R-rated was revealed. If it was, it was only for a split-second.
Still, Letterman joked, "We're going to lose our liquor license, I know it."
Longoria was able to recover and went on to disclose that the Housewives cast is almost finished with negotiations for an eighth season and perhaps beyond. "We'll be back for year eight and hopefully nine," she said.
When she returns to do interviews about the new season, though, we recommend some double-sided sticky tape.
