Celebrating her 36th birthday Friday night, Eva Longoria welcomed the fresh start of a new year. Surrounded by a ton of friends and her new beau, Eduardo Cruz, at Las Vegas' Eve nightclub, the Desperate Housewives actress beamed with happiness.

"Everything in my life is perfect," she told the crowd.

That's a surprisingly positive statement from a woman who just finalized her divorce from ex-husband Tony Parker. (The two split in November after infidelity rumors surfaced.) But Longoria said, as she begins a "new year," she's welcoming the "big changes" in her life.

Partying with pals including Mario Lopez and David Spade, Longoria began her night at her restaurant Beso, then headed to Eve for dancing and cuddling with her man. Sources say the couple kissed throughout the night in the VIP section.

"I embrace everything that's happening," the actress told People.com, of the new chapter in her life. "I hold dearly every experience that I have in my life. I regret nothing, so, you know, (I'm) moving on."
