Now that Eva Longoria's divorce from Tony Parker is finalized, the Desperate Housewives star is ready to move on with her life. The divorcée wrote on her Twitter page: "Starting over is hard to do... but life goes on... I pray for strength, courage and wisdom on my new journey..."
Longoria, 35, and Parker, 28, both filed for divorce in November 2010 after three years of marriage. Longoria filed for divorce first, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of the split. Two days later, Parker filed his own divorce papers to protect his rights. Sources claimed Longoria flipped when she discovered her husband had exchanged hundreds of texts with Erin Barry, the ex-wife of Parker's former San Antonio Spurs teammate Brent Barry.
Longoria and Parker agreed to work towards an amicable split, meeting for a friendly lunch in December 2010 to discuss details of their impending divorce. While the Spurs player has relied on support from family and a lifelong love of basketball to help him move on from his failed marriage, Longoria is rumored to have found her support in the arms of a new man.
Word on the street is that the actress is dating Eduardo Cruz, 25, a musician who also happens to be the younger brother of Penelope Cruz. We certainly wish Longoria lots of luck "starting over," but we have a feeling the sexy star is well on her way to finding love again!
