Face-Friendly Fix

Facial cleansers and moisturizers can keep for about six months unless they contain acids such as glycolic acid, salicylic acid and beta hydroxyl acid, then they have a longer shelf-life, says Shelly Ballestero, beauty aesthetician and author of Beauty by God. Facial toners should be thrown away after 12 months.
