Here's a little thought for tomorrow... because we suspect you might be a tad busy today. In fact, this idea might be just the ticket any day this coming weekend. Especially when the prospect of turkey sandwiches, turkey tetrazzini, turkey hash and, gulp, turkey surprise for one more meal is just too much to bear. So, make things a little easier for yourself in the kitchen this weekend and have a bit of fun with your family at the same time. Sound good? We thought so. With pizza for breakfast and pumpkin pancakes for dinner, our plan for a Topsy-Turvy Thanksgiving Weekend may just become a family tradition. We're sure everyone is going to enjoy it! Especially you.
What you'll need:
- Frozen pizza
- Ingredients for Pumpkin Pancakes
What you'll do:
Wake up a little later than usual on Wednesday morning. Pop your pizzas in the oven and amaze your family with this unusual breakfast that also happens to be a lot more nutritious than you'd expect. (Pizza is a good source of protein and calcium.)
When dinnertime rolls around have your kids help you measure and mix these delicious pumpkin pancakes. (If you find yourself utterly swamped by the end of the day, you can always make pancakes from a mix and add a shake or two of pumpkin pie seasoning and a little bit of vanilla. We won't tell.)
