In Theaters: May 24 The Buzz: When you go into a Fast & Furious movie, you know what you're going to get: a healthy dose of Vin Diesel in a tank top and 90 minutes of high-octane car chases, some of which may involve a muscle car driving through a crashing plane. The follow-up to 2011's Fast Five has all of that, plus a more-plausible-than-usual plot: Having scattered in the wake of their $100 million payday at the end of the last movie, the members of Dom's (Diesel) crew -- including Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster -- agree to help erstwhile pursuer Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) take down a lethal band of mercenary drivers led by Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) in exchange for full pardons. Diesel insists the film has emotional heft as well, thanks to the return of Dom's one true love Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), who supposedly died two films ago (so much for plausibility) but now works for Shaw. "You're able to watch them reconnect and fall in love again," Diesel told Entertainment Weekly of the Dom-Letty star-crossed romance. "The stakes are different. It's not just about beating up the biggest guy." Aww.
