Fat-Fighting Move #4: The Paperwork Pick Up Focuses on: Your back, biceps, shoulders, abs and legs

Put that stack of files on your desk to good use with this move! To start: Stand, holding files with your arms extended down. Step your right foot back about one foot behind you, keeping your knees slightly bent. Hinge forward at the hips about 45 degrees, keeping your spine straight and reach files towards the floor. Stand back up, keeping your back flat and curl your arms, bending at the elbows, bringing the files in towards your chest. Next, press your arms overhead as you lift your right foot off the floor, and draw your right knee in front of body, balancing on one leg. Slowly lower your right leg and return to a standing position. That's one rep. Do 10 reps with your right leg and 10 reps with your left. "This is a great total body exercise and a challenging way to improve your balance and overall coordination," explains Castaneda.
