New dad and comedian Jimmy Fallon could barely contain his excitement when he announced on Late Night that his wife gave birth to a daughter on July 23. "I'm emotionally drained," he said to viewers on July 24. "I'm a father of a beautiful baby girl. She's so cute. Her name is Winnie Rose Fallon and she's so cute."
We totally share Fallon's excitement, but the name got us wondering...was it inspired by Winnie the Pooh? Or Winnie Cooper from The Wonder Years? Check out these 10 celebrity baby names and the possible (okay, improbable) fictional characters who just might have inspired them:

Parents: Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen
Fictional Character: Winnie the Pooh
We love the fact that Fallon's little girl shares a name with another loveable, squeezable cutie -- everyone's favorite bear, Winnie the Pooh. Just one question: Can we expect baby no. 2 to be called Piglet?
Ace Knute Johnson

Parents: Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson
Fictional Character: Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
When the singer gave birth to her second child on June 30, we weren't surprised when the rumored name, Ace, turned out to be true. We're pretty sure this isn't where Jessica found her baby name inspiration, but we can't help but think of Jim Carey's infamous character, Ace Ventura.
Olive Barrymore Kopelman

Parents: Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman
Fictional Character: Olive Oyl
When the actress gave birth to her first child in 2012, we speculated on all of the different reasons why she chose the name Olive. Not on the list: an affinity for Popeye's better half, Olive Oyl. But it sure crossed our minds!
Parents: Victoria Beckham and David Beckham
Fictional Character: Romeo Montague
Wherefore art thou Romeo? When the British beauties chose this classic name for their second son, who was born in 2002, many assumed the former Spice Girl and soccer stud named their child after Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Although they never confirmed it, we have no problem thinking of Leonardo DiCaprio as Romeo when we hear the name!
Rainbow Aurora Rotella

Parents: Holly Madison and Pasquale Rotella
Fictional Character: Rainbow from My Little Pony
The former Playboy Bunny gave birth to daughter Rainbow Aurora on March 5, leaving everyone wondering the same thing: "huh?" “I wanted to give my daughter a unique name,” she told E! News. “Growing up, there was a girl in my school named Rainbow and I was so envious of that name. I thought it was so pretty and unique!” It looks like Holly got her wish. Not only is her daughter named after a beautiful arch of colors in the sky, but also after a very pretty pony.
Kal-El Coppola Cage

Parents: Nicolas Cage and Alice Kim Cage
Fictional Character: Superman
After the actor changed his surname from Coppola to Cage in honor of the comic book superhero Luke Cage, we didn't expect anything less when it came to naming his son. Hey, Kal-El is better than actually calling him Superman, right?

Parents: Jason Lee and Ceren Alkaç
Fictional Character: Casper the Friendly Ghost
At least she's friendly! We're not sure why the actor decided to have his daughter share a name with Hollywood's most famous ghost, but we're also not sure why he named his two other children Pilot Inspektor Riesgraf and Sonny.
Cricket Pearl Silverstein

Parents: Busy Philipps and Marc Silverstein
Fictional Character: Jiminy Cricket
When we hear cricket we think of the Jiminy Cricket and the sport -- not a baby. "It's weird people think my kids will be in therapy because of their names," the Cougar Town actress (whose other child is named Birdie) posted on July 20 via Twitter. You’re right Busy, it’s so weird...
Rocky James Prinze

Parents: Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze, Jr.
Fictional Character: Rocky Balboa
It looks like Sarah and Freddie have a champion on their hands! Although the name for their baby boy, who was born in 2012, is a bit out there, who better than to name their son after than a mythical sports legend? Now, will he take up boxing?
Daisy Boo Pamela Oliver

Parents: Jamie Oliver and Juliette Norton
Fictional Character: Daisy Buchanan
We actually like the name Daisy, especially since it reminds us the Jay Gatsby’s unrequited love in The Great Gatsby. Unfortunately, we’re not so fond of the first middle name. Is she trying to scare people? And is Casper Lee her BFF?
