D.C. artist Glenn Fry created the silkscreen of the family displayed above the fireplace in the dining room. “Episode 1 showed us doing a Christmas card shoot with Glenn,” says Mary, “and afterward, this was his gift to us as family.” Mary’s daughter Lolly, 24, painted the other portrait—and also recently gave the dining table a coat of black paint.

The vintage Tiffany tray on the table belonged to Mary’s late grandfather, pioneering radio and television personality Arthur Godfrey. The silver tray was presented to him to mark his 25th anniversary at CBS News.

Similar table: Harvest table, (price upon request) at Habersham Home. Chairs: Chair Collet, (price upon request) at Artefacto. Rug, Jute boucle rug (5x8 feet), $129 at West Elm.
