EXCLUSIVE! Get a Behind-the-Scenes Peek at 'The Five-Year Engagement'

In this iVillage exclusive featurette, Emily Blunt explains how she helped her American costar learn to do a fake British accent

The upcoming comedy The Five-Year Engagement (in theaters April 27) follows the hilarious ups and downs in the relationship of an engaged couple, played by Jason Segel and Emily Blunt. But it also focuses on the tumultuous relationship between the bride-to-be and her sister.

In this iVillage exclusive featurette, London-native Blunt explains how she helped Alison Brie -- the American actress who plays her sister -- learn to talk like a true Brit.

"It is really hard to do an English accent," says Blunt (whose real-life husband is John Krasinski). "So I gave her recording of my voice, just talking to her. And then I do these scenes with her, and I'm like, 'Oh she sounds like me.'"
