Flaxseed

Research suggests that flaxseed may help reduce hot flash frequency. As with other dietary supplements and menopause, however, there's no definitive link between flax and flashes, but adding it to your diet can't hurt: Because flaxseed contains omega 3 fatty acids, it’s generally considered a heart-healthy substance. Opt for ground flaxseed or flaxseed oil rather than supplements, which are unregulated; try adding two tablespoons twice a day to meals.
