Focus on the Fridge

It’s all too easy to let your fridge turn into a crowded mess. Marla Meridith, the popular food blogger from Family Fresh Cooking recommends taking regular inventory of your fridge and freezer. “Store foods in see through containers and bags so they are visible as soon as you open the door,” she advises. If you prep fruits and veggies by washing and trimming them in advance, it’ll be much easier to grab a quick and healthy snack. “Making food pretty means it is bound to be eaten,” she says. Keep foods that expire more quickly in the front of your fridge so they don't get lost in the shuffle.
