Ratatouille (2007)
Never has cartoon food looked so delicious as in this Pixar ode to fine French cooking (and the rats who practice it).
Chocolat (2000)
If the magical chili-spiked chocolate in this film doesn't make your mouth water, the sight of long-haired, guitar-playing Johnny Depp definitely will.
Moonstruck (1987)
Italian families know that love and food go hand-in-hand. This wonderful romantic comedy, about love and betrayal in an Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, is full of eventful meals.
Tampopo (1985)
If you still think of ramen as that stuff you ate from packets in college, this Japanese movie -- a series of vignettes all about the love of noodle soup -- may change your life.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002)
Greek food is featured so prominently in Nia Vardalos' semi-autobiographical comedy, it's practically a character. It even gets some of the best punch lines ("Spanakopita! Who's hungry?").
Bend it Like Beckham (2002 - honorable mention)
Not much food in this movie, but if you get the DVD, there's a wonderful extra feature in which director Gurinder Chadha makes the Indian dish aloo gobi with her critical mother ("Too much mess in there. What have you done?")
