chime in nowRich Products Corporation has expanded its voluntary recall -- initially announced in March -- of certain Farm Rich and Market Day frozen foods because of possible E. coli contamination.
The recall now includes all products produced at the company's Waycross, Georgia plant that have "Best By" dates ranging from January 1, 2013 to September 29, 2014, and is in addition to the products involved in the company's initial recall on March 28, 2013. That recall was due to a 15-state E. coli outbreak that has sickened 27 people, according to the CDC. No illnesses have been linked to the newly reclled items.
A full list of recalled products is available on the Food and Drug Administration's website as well as at the Rich Products website.
Customers who have purchased recalled items and have questions can contact the company's Consumer Relations at 1-888-220-5955 or visit farmrich.com.
