Football Bites with Maple Mustard

Fast, easy and kid-friendly, these tasty little football-shaped pastries will kick off your Super Bowl gathering with style. Kids can help separate the biscuits, grease the baking sheets, wrap the biscuits around the sausage and mix the maple mustard.

    Ingredients

    2 tubes refrigerator biscuits (8 to 10 biscuits per tube) 1/4 cup yellow mustard
    1 14-ounce package kielbasa 1/4 cup maple syrup
    1/2 cup spicy brown mustard

      Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and lightly grease 2 baking sheets. Open the tubes of biscuits and separate the individual pieces. Slice the kielbasa into rounds about 3/4-inch thick.

      Wrap each biscuit around a piece of kielbasa, pinching the edges to seal and squeezing them to approximate a football shape. Arrange on the baking sheets and bake 10 to 12 minutes, until they are puffed and golden.

      While the football bites bake, stir the mustards and syrup together in a small bowl.

      Transfer the bites to a platter and serve at once with the mustard sauce.
