Because girls with curves deserve dirt-cheap leggings and semi-trashy tops, too! On May 1 (my birthday!) Forever 21 is debuting a new line, Faith 21, a junior's plus-size collection featuring sizes XL, 1X and 2X in separates and dresses (equal to sizes 12 to 18). Jeans will now go up to a 34, aka size 14/16. While I’m not exactly sure what I think about a 34 jean being plus-size (my Seven jeans are a size 32 and I’m considered slender), I AM thrilled about the inclusiveness at the heart of this new collection. The collection will include skinny jeans, stylish tops, fashion leggings, graphic tees, skirts and more. Check it out online May 1.
PS I will always regret passing by an oversized tee I once saw at Forever 21 that blared, in huge foil letter, “FRANKIE SAYS RELAX.” Oh well…
