The Most Racist Town in America (1987)

Not one African-Americn person had lived in the town of Cumming, in Forsyth County, Ga., for 75 years -- and Oprah wanted to find out why. The talk show host bravely called a town meeting in Cumming to address the citizens' notorious hostility towards black people. The frank look at racism in American was difficult for Oprah, who at one point asked, "Does everyone in this town never even come in contact with black people? Do you not even watch The Cosby Show?" The much-watched episode will be revisited in Winfrey's final season, when she returns to Forsyth County for the first time.
