It really depends on your climate and the weight of the fabric. If it's heavier, like a cotton twill, I would think it would be 2- or 3-season in a cooler climate.

I'm in a very cold climate so it might extend to either end of summer here. I have always found cotton fades during washing. You would have to be very careful to have the pieces laundered together to ensure that they stay matching.

I live in a pretty warm climate so a cotton suit would work for me for most if not all of the year. I agree with the other posters that the weight of the cotton and your particular climate will come into play on how many seasons of the year it will work for you. Since it's unlined, if you're in a colder climate, you might also consider wearing tights or leggings underneath, to add to the warmth factor. And as one poster pointed out, you definitely have to be diligent about laundering the pieces together to keep the fading on a somewhat matching level.

@BostonGal75 is right, it really defends on how thick the fabric is.
