Are you a hoarder?

Compared to Lindsay Lohan, I'd have to say I'm not! (Wow...Did you get a load of all those shoes!??) But at second glance in my closet, I am guilty of hoarding, just not anything interesting! LOL For some reason, I seem to have a problem tossing... of all things...t-shirts!

My excuse is that I need some expendable clothes to wear when doing sloppy chores; painting, gardening, changing oil in the car, etc. Makes sense, right? Right... total sense; until I start counting all my "throwaway threads" I'm hanging on to. At this rate, I'm set with disposable duds until my youngest kid is sending his kids off to college! Time to purge some of those tattered tees!

What could come out of your closet?

Hi Bren!

I could probably stand to clean out some tees as well, though I seem to be able to find an occasion for almost all of them.

Pretty much everything in my closet can go (except my wedding dress). I rarely wear dresses, and (hopefully) soon nothing in there will fit. So far I'm down a size, and getting down to the next one!

LOL... I've got a couple of comfy cozy sweaters that have seen better days, but I won't part with them for anything! In fact, one will probably be my uniform of choice by Friday, since they're predicting snow for us once again, too!

Hope you stay warm and comfortable ... brrr....the word "blizzard" is enough to make me shiver for you!

Hey Pat...it's so wonderful to see you again! {{Hugs}}

So, that means you're gonna eventually toss your closet and have on heck of a shopping expedition! Woohooo! Can't wait to see all the pretties you'll choose! LOL

I must admit to being a bit of a hoarder. I do come by it through genetics as I stop and think about what my Grams and parents house was/is like. I am not to the point of not being able to move from room to room, but I do have corners that I haven't been to the bottom in a few years. I also still have boxes from when I moved 7 years ago that haven't been opened.

So many things could come out of my closet.
Shoes that I can't/won't wear anymore.
Clothing that is from when I was 17, I am now 50, my reasoning is that it still fits. I know, I know, I'm a candidate for "what not to wear".

Tons of summer clothing that I shouldn't be wearing anymore.

Tattered things that are so good to have and wear when working in the yard etc. But how many of those type outfits do I really need?

Lots of my DH's clothes, dress shirts that haven't been worn in several years, t-shirts (75 at last count) dress pants that are getting tattered. Shorts that have been splashed with caustic fluids. Unfortunately I could go on.
So the closet is one of my projects for spring. Plus I'm sure I will find a few treasures that I have forgotten about.

Ah...the buried treasures one might uncover in a
