So i just bought a designer bag, thinking it would be a great fall/winter bag. I find out though, that it is actually from the summer collection, and will soon be yesterday's news. I'm afraid to be walking around with it in the fall/winter now knowing that it is no longer the style. I paid top dollar for this bag.....can I still wear it?

Why not? Unless it is a very summery style/color, I don't think it really matters. I have 14 Coach bags, and I use all but a couple of them. There are a few that are more than 5 years old, and I still use them on occasion. I say if you liked it enough to pay for it, then use it!

I agree, unless it is a definate summer bag, such as a pastel or straw, use it. I don't think purses get outdated like clothes or shoes, and with the cost of some of them I'd use them until they fell apart.

As long as you like your new bag, who cares what anyone else may think? I happen to have a few top designer bags that I bought a few seasons ago and I still carry it all the time without worrying about how others may think of it. Besides, your bag shouldn't be too out of date if you had just gotten it at the store. Usually, bags that are waaaaay out of season are sent to their outlet stores, which by the way, are still bought by many. :) So, don't worry too much and enjoy your new bag!!! If you are really uncomfortable about carrying it, the store shouldn't have too much of a problem with you returning it. Good luck! I'm sure your new bag is looking as hot as ever.
