Do you *have* to wear skinny jeans with ballet flats? I'm so not a skinny jeans person; I prefer boot cut. Can I still wear balley flat shoes?

I'm looking at these shoes: http://www.luckybrand.com/emmie-flats/LKEMMIE.html

And jeans like these: http://us.levi.com/product/product_popup.jsp?productID=3920933&enhancedImg=http%3A%2F%2FLEVI.imageg.net%2Fgraphics%2Fproduct_images%2FpLEVI1-6883108_alternate2_t500x607.jpg&catId=3699953

What do you think?

Thanks, girls! I'm going to buy the shoes and then go try on some jeans! :)

I also wear straight leg pants with ballet flats rather than skinny jeans and I agree they look better with a shorter hem. Boot cut jeans are much more flattering on a curvy figure. I think they could be worn with ballet flats if the hem come down to the shoe. I prefer them with a heavier shoe. I am from the era when pants were supposed to drag on the ground, and I still like that look. It makes me look taller and elongates my legs.

I don't wear skinny jeans either but I have a pair of slim cut straight leg pants that I wear with ballet flats. They are cropped, hit just above the ankle bone. With boot cut jeans I think you need a shoe with more substance than a ballet flat, and you wouldn't be able to see the flats under the flare, plus the hem in the back would probably be dragging.
