Brave Enough to Go Braless?

You can almost hear the collective unhooking and sighs of relief spreading around the world as women find out bras don’t benefit their breasts—and may actually be harmful! That’saccording to a French professor who studied breastsfor 15 years (tough job for him, I’m sure.)

“Medically, physiologically, anatomically, the breast does not benefit from being deprived of gravity,” said the study’s Jean-Denis Rouillon, a professor at the University of Franche-Comté in Besançon.

Bras Don’t Prevent Sagging?! Woohoo, Get Me Out of This Thing!

What do you think?  Are you brave enough to go out without a bra on?

Are you kidding?! When I read that all the reasons I had been given to wear a bra was pure myth was freeing! I hate the tightness I get around me ribcage and underneath my armpits from bras. Now I'm switching to camis to prevent headlights and deciding to be more comfy than politcally correct. Like I said, I'm not going naked under my shirts from now on but I am for sure going braless!

haha, "politically correct"! that's a good one :) i like the line from the article about "being judged by other women and ogled by men as you go for your morning jog" - women are always going to judge one another and men are always going to ogle, so you might as well be judged and ogled in comfort! i don't wear a bra unless i absolutely have to, like if i'm wearing a work blouse that isn't ruffled and a cami underneath would just look bad. same goes for certain necklines. anyway, there are men whose breasts are bigger than mine and you don't see them wearing bras, so why should i? lol

Bra stays on, a H cup hurts when it  is loose and it not comfortable.  The bra I have doesnt hurt, it suppport with out restricting and is comfortable, i had a proffesional fitting,  bra is only really uncomfortable if they are the wrong size.

There are many times at home I will go without a bra...no big deal.  Depending on my clothing choice and the "atmosphere" I may or may not wear one to work, a party, or dinner.  Then there are those times when I feel I want to wear one for my partners excitement  Wink

Not sure on the "politically correct" part, but I will go braless in the summer, winters not so much, the added layer helps keep me warm. Wink

Maybe 30 years ago but 3 kids and gravity mean it is a bra for this Grandmother in public! I can't even remember the last time I went braless at home while dressed!

Braless is no biggie as far as I'm concerned.  I've done it since I started growing boobs and even after my implants but I still mostly wear a bra when I'm out and about if only because I feel sexier and my husband is afraid that one day my boobs will be down to my knees!  Hee hee!

Wow. That's refreshing! I think I can be brave enough not to wear it if my clothes aren't that thin and sheer otherwise I'll have to put it on.
