Hello Ladies,

Thanks for helping out a lurker!

What would you wear to a 10am church wedding in LosAngeles where the attair has been described as California Casual? Is this like the 'dressy casual' I'm more familiar with here on the other side of the U.S.? One quick search on google --what is cc?-- produced the answer "flip-flops" from one designer. I might wear flip-flops to a beach wedding, but not a church wedding. FYI the bride will wear a gown, but there will be no tuxes, just sports jackets, and the reception in at Madres Restaurant in Pasedena.

skirt to the knee ok? bare legs ok? silk top ok? Or are we talking cotton from head to toe? Should my toes be covered?

Thins that make you go Hmmmmmm......

Thanks!

Knee length skirt sounds fine, definitely on the bare legs, silk top sounds fine, and I don't think you need to cover your toes. I wouldn't wear too much of a heel either, I would stick with shorter maybe embellished sandals. It really sounds like anything goes...

If you have any more specific ideas, feel free to run them by us!

Thanks Emily,

I'm not sure why I'm a little conflicted over this one. Probably has something to do with the fact that I'll be going without my husband and my very young kids and I'm feeling very much like a fish out of water. I might feel like a fish, but I'll be damned if I'll look like one!

Appreciate the feedback!
