I always go to the mall and usually dig through endless piles of crap before I can find something I like. For most of my clothes I just go on to try to and go off what my friends wear, or glnce stuff that I like, but I still wish I could have an actual "go-to store" that mostly things that I like.

If you are looking for a brick and mortar store you should try ones like Old Navy, TJ Maxx, anything similiar in your area. You never know what you can find in any clothing store, so go in and poke around. I've found great things in stores I end up in because something in a window catches my eye, or I'm out with friends and go shopping somewhere they like.

Could you tAlk more about the pieces in your closet that you do like. For example, do you like skirts that are A-line, sheath dresses, blazers???? Are you more of a bohemian dresser or do you prefer contemporary pieces? Do you embrace bright colors or do you lean more on the "dark side"? Maybe muted colors? In my opinion you should go thru your wardrobe and pull the garments that you like and make a list about why you like each piece. By doing so you will see a pattern. Hopefully this will help you discover your style. Lastly don't hesitate to walk into a store like Nordstrum or Neiman Marcus to get the help you need to discover your style. Don't feel obligated to purchase anything....after all the whole purpose of the exercise is to discover your style. Good luck!

I think you should really identify what your style is and think about a celebrity or another person who has similar taste in style and look to them for inspiration. When you go shopping you should know what you are looking for. That should help too.

Personally, I love the bohemian look. I don't think this style ever goes out. It works for me for several reasons:
1) It's comfortable and playful
2) It hides my shape
3) I can get away with wearing it to work!

And 1 thing I've recently discovered for my personal style is comfy colorful thigh highs (can you tell that comfy is a huge for me??) I recently bought a pair from this company: and am totttally in love! I have a pair of bordeaux thigh high stockings and they go really well with my navy blue and purple bohemian style dress. It's also great for cold winter days too. I love it! love it love it!
