Ok...i work at a night club, and wednesday i bought new boots. I wore them wednesday night and they are knee high with about 2 1/2 in stilletto heels. My feet were KILLING me by the end of the night and from the ball of my foot to my toes were numb the next day and are still numb today! It feels like i just got a shot to relieve pain. They tingle but i have limited feeling. I'm scared! Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on?? Thanks!

Hi, and welcome. Do you normally wear heels that height for work?

You probably suffered this pain because they were new boots and you were breaking them in so your feet were probably adjusting to the new boots. It sounds like you're on your feet a lot so I wouldn't recommend that high of a heel unless it's a thick or stacked heel. I'll wear a knee high boot for work with a stiletto heel but I'm not on my feet much but it sure draws attention. What kind of job do you have? Waitress? Soak those feet in some warm water and get yourself so more comfortable boots! I own over 20 pairs of boots so I've learned what works and doesn't work.

Be careful with those feet, they have to last a lifetime. You probably need a little more time to break them in. Do they have a pointed toe or square toe? You could try a boot with a broader heel. Are you required to wear heels for your job or can you wear a flat boot??
