Hi ladies!

Just an informal survey: How many handbags do you own?

I have four. One for every day, one that was replaced by the one I use every day, it just hasn't made it to the donation place yet, a small cloth one for exercise time or the casino, when I don't want to carry the one that can hold a book. I also have a small evening bag that mostly collects dust. lol

I LOVE hand-bags!

Right now I have two I use everyday.

One looks similar to my Avatar.

The other one I have is green corduroy with a brown leather bottom and straps...I use it to carry things that won't fit in my purse like Library books or my bus schedule...bottle of water or an alternative to plastic bags if I get groceries.

I do have some others but it's hard for me to part with them although if my dd likes one I will give it to her.

Like to change them up to depending on the season.

Most of the time I will buy them new to me say from a thrift shop or a second-hand store.

My guilty pleasure...;)

I have to plead the Fifth, since I don't want to go count. I've been collecting handbags for a long time and there are a lot of them in my closet. (Think boxes, labeled by color, size, and type.) I switch them out on a whim. I've curbed the buying habit, donated many in my last two interstate moves, but I probably still own too many (more than twenty, less than a hundred - I hope).

I have a friend like that. DH helped her put up hooks in her closet for them, he said they put up 40 and each one had at least 2 handbags on them.

I tend to veer back and forth in terms of size and internal configuration. I think it's because I haven't found the perfect bag yet.

My biggest requirement for an every day bag is that a paperback book HAS to fit and not be crammed in. I always have a book with, just in case.

That's always been one of my criteria (must hold paperback, sunglasses, wallet, keys, lip stuff and phone), but I may revise it since I just got a smartphone with a reasonably-sized screen and Kindle pre-loaded...

I too LOVE handbags.

They are actually the pandura's box of the girl.In my bag, you can't find, but it have my wallet, a comb, lipgloss, eyeliner, a diary, pen , my mobile, a water bottle and sometimes my ipad.

I have 6 handbags for the casual use right now which I love to carry. One each of white, pink, black, purple, red and green in color.

I love to dress my self in these colors and so the handbags.

For the occasion, I have 2 which have some shinny look and do match with my most of the functional dresses. I have one designer Orla kiely Handbag, my favourite.
