Help!!! I need some advice!

I am 22 years old and single. Anyway, I am going to a concert in a couple of months with a group of friends and I have invited a guy that I am interested in. I really want to make a good impression and would like to knock him dead with my outfit. I have no idea what to wear. I am a pear shape and on 5'3''. I will most likely wear jeans. Any input would be appreciated.

What kind of concert are you going to? If it's the symphony you might want to rethink the jeans, otherwise they should be fine. Consider where it is being held, as well, to make sure you are going to fit in with the surroundings, and the rest of the people there.

Ladyinpublic makes many good points. BTW, is this an outdoor concert? If so, you'll need to keep the weather in mind too.

I'm a 34-year old man myself and I know I am *always* impressed by women who make a genuine effort to look coordinated. If you're inclined to wear jeans (I assume it's a casual concert) and it's not expected to be terribly warm out (or if it's an indoor venue where cold drinks will be served), I would recommend a sweater top. You have great options there - a soft turtleneck in a pretty color that will stand out in your group, or perhaps a basic V-neck with a bright necklace & earring set (or even a neckerchief) to complement your hair and eyes and keep his gaze fixed upon you. (Either way, I'd suggest black jeans in order to maximize your color options.)

I hope my perspective is of some assistance - have a great time! I'm sure he'll be very impressed with you...make sure he works hard for your interest. :)

I would probably wear some really cute and sexy cami top with an adorable cropped jacket with matching shoes or boots. There are so many cute things like that to purchase from Victoria Secret, Bebe has tons of that stuff, Bostonproper too, Bloomingdales and Neimans have all kinds, just to name a few. That's what everyone is wearing in LA. Just got back from there.

That was my thought too, a sexy cami. And a jacket if it's going to be cold. Freezing is not fashionable.

And a great shoe, and small purse too!

My new favorite winter boot brand is Love From Australia. They are stylish and keep my feet warm.

I wore my faux shearling bomber hat from Lands End yesterday (it was 13 degrees), and the thing totally kept me warm. It's hideous, but I love it!

My Lands End fleece bomber hat makes all the difference when I'm out in the cold. Apparently, that's all you need to stay warm. =)
