Hi and welcome to the board. Jeans are so much the individual more than the brand. I buy a.n.a and St John's Bay from JCP, but know friends who don't like the way they fit them, it's a trial and error thing. I have heard of one called "Not Your Daughter's Jeans" that might fit you right. You can find them at Nordstroms or Macy's.

The best advice I can give you is to keep trying on different ones until you find some that fit the way you want.

I'm no expert, but it sounds like you might need to try a different rise, so they hit you at a spot where the proportions match up better. This may sound corny, but I've learned a lot from watching makeover shows like "What Not to Wear" and such.

Also, some of the higher end department stores usually offer more personal assistance, so maybe they could help you find the right style and cut for your body. Worth a try, I think.

Good luck and God bless!
