In a recent interview with the New York Times, Michelle Obama said her husband, President Barack Obama, “doesn’t understand fashion” and questions her shoe shopping habits.

I can't believe I missed this post ... and that no one else answered it.

My husband is SO fashion challenged. His idea of dressing up is a polo shirt with dark jeans. He lives in tshirts and jeans ... and right now most of his tshirts are about 5 sizes too big. (He had bariatric surgery and has lost over 100 pounds)

As to shoes .. he is like most guys, "I only have one pair of feet". He does actually have 3 pairs of shoes, 1 for work, 1 for dress and a pair of sandals. I keep hoping he'll figure it out ... not so far though.

You're not alone! LOL My dh is the same way; after years of working in the public eye and having to wear a suit and tie, he's now comfortably ensconsed in jeans and pull overs. And he only has 2 pairs of shoes; one for dress and a pair of sneakers. Can't get that man to buy anything else, drat it!

Sounds like

There are a few exceptions, but I think you called it right on their perception that we duplicate a lot in our wardrobe. Now, if we could just find some way to transplant that basic common sense on why we need "more than one" into the basic male DNA, we'd be good to go and they'd be more
