Hey I'm new to what to wear and I was thinking about this seasons style, and skinny jeans are a must have. But I am quite short and don't have the best legs, with my chubby thighs! I think they look really good on celebritys of course who have great figures. And Jeans are always my first buy first buy for the autumn and winter. So I was wondering if they was any advice from other people who are a similar size. Shall I just stick to the flattering bootcut style? Or go for the skinny jeans look anyway? Thanks for any replys. Claire, style is as much or maybe even more about feeling good and looking your best as it is about the latest fad. As Chris says there are a lot of fashions I too wish I could wear but they do not flatter me or make me look just plain silly. Find a cut, style, and manufacturer of jeans that fits your style and go with it. Believe me there are going to be a lot of us out there not in those pencil slim jeans.

I've decided that the only thing that's in this year is looking good! That means figure flattering clothes. Who cares what celebrities wear? Wear what looks good on you and is comfortable. Because confidence is always in style!

There is nothing worse than wearing "fashion" for fashion sake. If you don't like a particular trend, or it's uncomfortable for you, why should you wear it just to look fashionable? To me, that's the biggest fashion faux pas of all. Personally, I'm skipping the whole skinny jean trend because it's too 80's and I love my boot cut jeans. And honestly, not all of the celebrities look good or have perfect bodies. A lot of them starve themselves or have personal trainers or are airbrushed in their photos, giving us regular folks a very wrong impression of how they truly look. Just FYI:)
