I have some jeans made by Jeanstar, both their Elle & Mercury fits. They fit beautifully and are very reasonable in price. I'm not sure these styles are still available but Jeanstar has other fits that may work for you. The Elle is a mid-rise fit & the Mercury is a lower rise fit. They have a nice stitching design on the pockets and both are a bootleg fit that works for flats and heels. These jeans are sometimes available at Macy's. Also, check at Macy's for their INC brand of jeans which may work for you.
Another option would be jeans from Lane Bryant. I have seen these on curvy women before and they make your rear look nice and the fit is flattering.
Yet another option is a brand called Not Your Daughters Jeans. I think they are available at Nordstrom and online as well. The price is reasonable.
Hi and welcome to the board!
It's been a while since I've bought jeans but I'm going through much the same dilemma you are. Jeans are one of those items I just have to try on ...and keep trying on and on till I find what I like! LOL I'm sure some of the more fashion savvy members here will chime in with some specific suggestions.
In the meantime, here are a couple of information links that may help you narrow down the styles you want to look into: How to buy jeans Jeans that take off 10 pounds
Good luck and I hope you'll come back and share your results with us!
