I have a question.. I recently got a new job... this one I have to dress nicely for!!!! i have not worn a dress in about 8 years.. my problem is the pantyhose.. any good suggestions for ones that don;t run.. I prefer the control top for my tummy, but hate having runs.... thanks girls

As one who works in a similar circumstance I can empathize with you Mary Jo however I have found that pantyhose hasn't gotten any better in 20 years or more. As a matter of fact I don't think they have improved much since my first pair and that was back in the 60's! Perosnally I wear thigh highs for the most part that way I can salvage the non-runned leg and match it up with another. As for the control tops I just usually go with a control panty, shapewear in today's terms or for us old girls a girdle. Good luck on the new job!

I'm with msdeidre, I go with the thigh tops and for the same reason. You get at least two pairs per package, usually, and if you run one you still have spares. They are also a whole lot easier to put on!

Hi Mary Jo,

Are dress slacks an option at your job?
